Questions
Before you buy
The seven things people ask most. If yours is not here, ask it — a person reads it.
Answers
Seven questions
- Do I need Excel, or Google Sheets?
- Either. Both are in every purchase — an Excel workbook that opens in Excel 2016 and later, and a Google Sheets template you copy to your own Drive in one click. No macros and no add-ons, so there is nothing to enable and nothing to trust.
- What is actually in the download?
- Four files: the blank workbook, a second copy already filled in as a worked example, a setup PDF, and a text file with the one-click link to the Sheets version. The worked example is there so you can see a finished one before you touch yours.
- When do I get it?
- Immediately. Checkout hands you the download; nothing ships and nothing is posted.
- Do I pay again when a file is improved?
- No. Every future version is free for as long as the file is sold, and it arrives at the same download link — the link you get today keeps working.
- What if it is not what I expected?
- Fourteen days, no explanation required, even though the file has already been downloaded. Email the address on your receipt and the refund goes back to the original payment method. The full policy is two paragraphs.
- Can I use these at work, or share them?
- Use them for anything you like, including your own work. Please do not resell, redistribute or share the files themselves.
- Do the e-ink editions calculate?
- No — a page cannot. Where a spreadsheet works the figure out for you, a print or e-ink edition gives you the space to write it. Where a product exists in both forms, the fields are generated from the same definition so the two cannot drift apart.
