ADHD Money System
Two checking accounts, one float, and a weekly check-in that is two numbers typed in from your banking app.
Account A pays every bill on autopay and nothing else. Account B is yours to spend without arithmetic. Every payday one automatic transfer moves a fixed amount into A, slightly more than the bills need, so a buffer grows on its own. That buffer is the float, and it is the headline number here.

TWO NUMBERS
Your only recurring job is typing two balances. No transaction logging, no categories to keep up with, no allowance draining down a bar chart. Most money advice trades money for executive function; this asks for neither. When the float reaches one month of bills you are paying this month's bills with last month's money, and a late paycheck stops being an emergency. The ADHD Tax tab exists because a late fee or a forgotten subscription is a real cost worth seeing, and naming it is how it stops being a private failure.
