Debt Payoff Calculator
Two payoff strategies run against a real month-by-month amortisation schedule, so you can see what each one costs before you choose.
List every debt with its balance, APR and minimum payment. Anything the sheet highlights has a minimum that never clears the balance, which means the payment is not covering the interest. Set a target date and it back-computes the monthly payment that would clear everything by then. Put your realistic extra payment on the two method tabs and read the difference.

PAYOFF-DATE SOLVER
Most calculators total your debts and multiply. This one amortises month by month, which is the only way the cascade shows up. Both methods send the same amount out each month; what differs is the order debts clear in, and every time one clears, its freed minimum lands on the next debt down. That cascade is the whole reason the two routes finish on different dates and cost different amounts, and it is why a comparison built on averages gets the answer wrong.
