The ninety minute week
One planning session on Sunday removes about forty small decisions from the following five days.

A weekly plan is not a schedule. It is a set of decisions made once, in a calm state, so that they do not need to be remade at eleven on a Tuesday.
Close before you open
Close the previous week before opening the next one. Unfinished work either moves forward with a new date or gets deleted; nothing stays ambient.
Three priorities is the ceiling
A fourth priority is a wish. Write the three at the top of the sheet and let everything else compete for the space underneath.
- 01Block the two hardest blocks first.
- 02Leave one empty afternoon. It will be taken from you anyway.
- 03Record what actually happened, so next week's estimate is calibrated.
