The Daily Card System
Sixty daily cards, one standing list for the big things, and a rule printed on every card.
The card is today. You write what is on it, cross off what happens, and tomorrow you take a fresh card. Whatever still matters gets copied across by hand. The standing major list holds the things that are too big for a card and only ever asks for a next step.

REWRITE, DON'T DRAG
Rewrite, do not drag. Yesterday's leftovers are copied by hand onto today's card or they are dropped, and the rule is printed on every single card so the decision arrives daily rather than being a policy you once adopted. Copying by hand is friction, and that is the point: a task that is not worth thirty seconds of rewriting was not going to get done, and dragging it forward untouched for three weeks is how a list becomes a monument to things you are not doing.
