On Ingredients you keep the actives and irritants you care about, each with a role, a source, and the date you verified it. On Products you keep everything you own or are considering, tagged by category, actives and skin type, with a mark for what is on your shelf. My Shelf then assembles itself: what you own, what is in it, and what that ingredient does. Both library tabs filter, and the funnel icons in the header row are live.

No source, no claim. Every ingredient role carries where it came from and when you last checked it, and the Dashboard reports what share of your library is actually sourced. That rule is the one the big free databases break: a role asserted with nothing behind it reads exactly like a role with a paper behind it, and you cannot tell them apart six months later. Here you can, because the column is right there and the date is on it.
